Rev. Michael D. Hook
Pastor Michael D. Hook was born in Kentucky. His father was a minister and pastor for thirty years. He graduated from high school in Iuka, MS and graduated from University of South Alabama Mobile, AL with a degree in Accounting and a minor in Business.
He worked for Ingells Ship Building before being called in to the ministry. He married Rose Tolbert in June of 1972. Pastor Hook evangelized and travelled in twenty five states from 1974-1977. He and his wife were elected in as Pastor in Harrisburg, IL from 1977-1989. While he was there he saw such growth that they had to renovate and build a new church.
He came to Waukesha to pastor in May of 1989 and has carried a burden for this county since. When Pastor moved here to Waukesha the church was located on Merrill Hills Rd and was called Apostolic Life Tabernacle. The church grew within the first few years and an addition had to be added on to that location. In 2011, he led the church in moving to our current location to support the new growth that had taken place at that time. Pastor believes that this was a fulfillment of the promise that God has given him that He would build a church on the interstate.
He currently serves as director on the Revival Commission for the state of Wisconsin. He has served on numerous church growth committees and was at one time on the board of multi-culture evangelism.
Pastor Hook has a genuine heart to bring hope in a changing world. It is his desire to see every individual impacted by God’s love.
